Habitat accepts RFQs (Requests for Qualifications) on an ongoing basis.

Lakeway Area Habitat for Humanity’s Repair Programs serve Hamblen, Grainger, and Claiborne County homeowners through addressing critical home repairs, accessibility improvements, mobility modifications and weatherization enhancements. The type of work done through these programs can include installing wheelchair ramps, grabs bars, handrails, showers, and ADA height toilets. Critical repairs could also include repairing/replacing plumbing, subfloors, water heaters, HVAC systems or roof systems. We do not do cosmetic work.

Lakeway Area Habitat for Humanity’s Homeownership Program serves deserving families in Hamblen and Grainger Counties. We are currently soliciting contractors to submit bids or Request for Qualifications (RFQs) for new home construction projects in Hamblen and Grainger Counties. This includes, but is not limited to: Concrete, Framing, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Drywall, Masonry, Painting, Flooring, etc.

Habitat abides by all federal, state and local procurement guidelines set forth. Applicable city, state, and federal regulations such as but not limited to Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109, and E.O. 11246 are required.

To be considered, you must first be approved to participate in our bidding process. Lakeway Habitat accepts RFQs (Requests for Qualifications) on an ongoing basis.

Your RFQ must include the following completed documents:

  1. Company Profile Form
  2. Habitat for Humanity Comprehensive Subcontractor Agreement
  3. Copy of Business or General Contractor’s License, if applicable.
  4. Copy of your General Liability Insurance $500,000 minimum and Workers’ Comp. Insurance or Exemption Certificate.
  5. Completed W-9

Once completed, your RFQ MUST be submitted TWO ways:

  1. Email necessary documents to construction@lakewayareahabitat.org.
  2. You must also drop-off or mail completed and signed copies of all documents to: Lakeway Area Habitat for Humanity,  ATTN: Christina Love-Baldwin, P.O. Box 2133 Morristown, TN, 38716.
