HOW DO I APPLY?
You will need to complete a pre-application eligibility questionnaire. This questionnaire can be obtained by visiting our office located at 1080 Alpha Valley Home Road in Morristown. If you are unable to come into the office you may also call 423-581-1661 to complete the questionnaire over the phone/receive a copy via mail. The questionnaire needs to be filled out completely, signed, and returned to the Habitat office for review.
Once it is determined that you meet program guidelines, Habitat staff will schedule an appointment for you to complete the full application and bring in all supporting documentation.
If you are eligible, we will schedule an inspection of your home. If the inspection determines your repair needs fall within the program’s services and budget, you will be officially accepted into the program. Homes that cannot be brought to safe, habitable conditions within the program’s limits will not be eligible for assistance.
